NuVu’s Summer Session moves students from merely playing to creating innovative games in six studios. The “Games and Magic” theme uses games as a platform for students to learn fundamental concepts of math, science, computer programming, robotics, digital arts, writing, music and film. Students learn the latest technologies from Adobe®, Apple®, Autodesk®, to Arduino®, and more while they create innovative games. Each two-week studio culminates in a NuVu Tournament where students face-off against one another in challenges based on their newly designed games. The studios are inspired by research, tournaments and inventions from MIT as well as the vibrant technology and design industries.

Our aim is to inspire each student to develop social, problem-solving and technical skills. Students explore and invent in collaborative teams under the guidance of our coaches who are professional experts and academics at MIT and Harvard.
