Envisioning Now: Detailing Parallel Worlds and Persuading for their Production
Industry changed the human condition by affording large scale rapid production of almost anything. This ability to produce in large volume, scale, and complexity demanded a constant resource of engineers, architects, and designers to ensure new productions evolve to meet consumer demands. This studio will explore techniques used by product designers for envisioning new ways of living. We will review landmark visions, design processes, and manufacturing techniques that will guide our research projects. We will sketch, 3D model, and diagram new lifestyles and detail a keystone invention within the lifestyle to seed its ideology now.
