Between Art and Science

When I think of science in art, I imagine visual art: two dimensional and three dimensional shapes that have mathematical inspirations like the golden ratio or the logarithmic spiral. When I think about it some more, I realize that film, photography, music, and even performing arts can have scientific connections. The size and thickness of a lens of a camera is a very precise technology. Music has a powerful influence on our mind. A sequence in choreography is, by definition, an algorithm.
